Apprenticeship and qualification program administered by the ministère de l'Emploi et de la solidarité sociale en chauffage (hors construction). To be eligible in apprenticeship, you must be 16 years of age. The program include: The obligation to register as an apprentice; compulsory courses; the acquisition of Skills from the apprenticeship guide under the supervision of a journeyperson; a minimal lenght prescribed in apprenticeship and, once all the requirements completed, the obligation to pass a qualification examination. The holder of a qualification certificate in heating trade can be admitted to write the steamfitter/piprefitter's interprovincial examination.
